2022 Concrete Pavement Workshop Series
The Southwest Concrete Pavement Association presents:

EPDs for Concrete Pavements – Three Perspectives on Environmental Product Declarations

Tuesday, June 28th from 9:00 am to 10:15 am Pacific Time

Brought to you through the support of:

EPDs 101: An EPD is a document which transparently communicates the environmental performance or impact of any product or material over its lifetime.

Within the construction industry, EPDs support carbon emission reduction by making it possible to compare the impacts of different materials and products in order to select the most sustainable option. EPDs provide a first step in measuring the CO2 emissions from concrete paving projects.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how EPDs fit into the larger effort to improve sustainability of concrete pavements over the entire life of the pavement.

Our panel features Leif Wathne of the CP Tech Center, Dominika Ercolini of Caltrans, and Keith Krugh of Martin Marietta.
