The Foothill Low Water Crossing Bridge Project is near Cuyama and being constructed for Santa Barbara County. The bridge will feature 30 spans across the river, and includes two traffic lanes, shoulders, and a pedestrian walkway with LED lighting.

The Federal Highway Bridge Program is funding the $15.9-million Low Water Crossing Bridge Project, which is scheduled to complete in autumn 2023.
