Structural Integrity & Longevity
Robust concrete pavement foundations are fundamental to the quality and performance of roadway pavement systems. The base and other foundation layers are designed to distribute traffic loads and provide a stable, non-erodible and consistent platform for the top pavement layer. Pavement foundations often contain high quantities of recycled or reused materials from the project site. Without a stable well-designed and well-constructed foundation, concrete pavement is susceptible to premature failures.
Join us to learn from our panel, below, what is fundamental to the design and construction of robust concrete pavement foundations, and what we can do to improve them.
David White, CEO of Ingios Geotechnics
Marco Estrada, Director of Market Development at Pavement Recycling Systems
Angel Mateos, Research Engineer, Principal Investigator, UC Pavement Research Center, Berkeley
Deepak Maskey, Senior Transportation Engineer, Caltrans Office of Concrete Pavements
If you’re a Construction Professional, Transportation Engineer, Asset/Network Manager, or involved in any aspect of pavement projects, join us and learn what goes into Improving Concrete Pavement Foundations.
This workshop is brought to you at no cost, courtesy of the Southwest Concrete Pavement Association, our Supporters, and our Member Company Sponsors: Cooper Engineering; FlatironDragados; and Security Paving Company.
