This Concrete Pavement Essentials 101 workshop will provide a comprehensive introduction to the design and construction of Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP) and Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP), with a focus on standards, practices, and materials commonly used in California and the western United States. The session will emphasize key elements for project success with durable, long-life pavement, including pavement structure, jointing, concrete mixtures, and construction best practices.
