In the April 15th issue, we recognized our members – Granite, Flatiron, and Security Paving – for their recent ACPA Excellence in Concrete Paving Awards.
A fourth SWCPA member, Southwest Concrete Paving Co., also received an ACPA Gold Award of Excellence in the last competition. Their Minot Air Force Base Mass Parking Apron – Section II project in Minot, North Dakota was given a National Excellence in Concrete Pavement Award in the Military Airports category.

With more than a decade of Heavy Civil/Airfield experience, Southwest Concrete Paving Co. worked closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, who acted as both the Owner and the Engineer on the project, to ensure its successful scheduling and timely completion.
