Security Paving was recently awarded a new project at Ontario International Airport. The scope of work on the $24-million project includes the removal of the current Taxiway S, a key parallel taxiway running near the airport’s southernmost runway, 8R-26L. Taxiway S will be paved with 35,000 cubic yards of Plain Cement Concrete.

Work began in March of this year, and also includes new Runway Centerline and Edge Lights, and the installation of 3,000 feet of 60” perforated drainage pipe. The project is scheduled to complete in July. Thomas Mattivi is serving as Security Paving’s Project Manager, and Danny Jenenicki is the Superintendent.
